Your Instructors
Ann Kern
Ann Kern is the owner and director of Vegas Valley Dance Academy. She earned a
Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University. During her tenure at BYU, she traveled and performed in various dance companies
in the United States and Europe. Early in Kern's career, she excelled in beauty pageants across the United States. She
then traveled on to Europe as an ambassador. She has been able to direct and act as the Master of Ceremonies for numerous
fashion shows, and models for print and television. Ann dedicates her time and energy to bringing the best from her students.
She enjoys watching them grow as she instructs them in the art of dance. Ann Kern has high hopes for her students, and looks
forward to the years to come.
Heidi
Kern
Heidi Kern has been dancing since she was three-years-old and has enjoyed
every minute of it. She is trained in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, modern, lyrical, Irish Step-Dancing, and of course....clogging.
She interned with the cast of "The Lord of the Dance" and performed professionally in "The Tournament of Kings
Dinner Show" and "Jubilee!" She is currently attending the Community College of Southern Nevada to receive
her nursing degree and fulfill her childhood dream of becoming a Pediatric Nurse.
Instructors are independent contractors.
